Isabella Laws is a Peer Facilitator with Badger Supports, where she facilitates peer-support groups and campus workshops focused on mental health, active listening, and student well-being.
Isabella is a Neurobiology and Spanish major on the pre-med track. Isabella is interested in contributing to her community by encouraging her peers to participate in open-ended discussions about mental health and finding ways to support her peers. Isabella currently works at a family medicine clinic.
Her role in healthcare has allowed her to interact with individuals with various emotional and physical needs and emphasized her desire to aid those around her. Isabella has learned to support her peers through not only her job, but, her experience with National Charity League for 6 years throughout middle and high school.
Isabella is originally from San Diego, CA, and enjoys spending time outdoors and running. She recently adopted a rescue cat named Giuseppi and loves spending time with him as well. Isabella is passionate about finding individually tailored ways to support her fellow UW-Madison peers.
