Our Mission: At Badger Supports, we create a safe space for Badgers at UW-Madison to connect and find common ground. By supporting each other's student experience, we break the stigma, anxiety, stress, and doubt surrounding mental health and our lives as Badgers. We build a strong, supportive community rooted in shared understanding and care through peer-led workshops, drop-in groups, and craft nights.
Set aside an hour to reset at the start of your week! Students usually talk about whatever feels most present in their lives:
Classes, grades, stress, burnout, and balancing work with school
Friendships, roommates, relationships, family pressure.
Identity, uncertainty about the future, and housing.Β
Conversations change week to week based on what people are carrying.
Hearing other similar experiences can feel grounding and reassuring. Many Badgers walk out feeling lighter, more understood, and more connected to other Badgers who get it.

Need a break from classes? Come to a Badger Supports Craft Night! Every other week we host fun, creative events where you can relax, meet new people, and make something coolβlike bracelets, clay animals, or painted canvases.
No experience needed, no sign-ups requiredβjust show up, hang out, and unwind with fellow Badgers.
